When to Go
The best times to visit Seoul are during the spring (March to May) and autumn (September to November). Spring offers pleasant temperatures and the beautiful cherry blossoms, while autumn boasts clear skies, comfortable weather, and stunning fall foliage. These seasons provide ideal conditions for outdoor activities and sightseeing.
Korean culture values respect, especially towards elders. Bow slightly when greeting or saying goodbye to show respect. When dining, it's common to share dishes, and pouring drinks for others (especially elders) is a gesture of politeness. While public displays of affection are becoming more common, generally keep them discreet. Tipping is not customary in South Korea. Remember to remove your shoes when entering traditional homes, temples, and some restaurants.
